My Introduction to Inner Divinity

Many years ago, I encountered an idea that truly startled me:
Each of us carries our own spark of the Divine.

 

If that were true… could it also mean that I was, in some way, Divine?

 

This realization shifted everything. At the time, I often felt hopeless, helpless, and powerless. The possibility that I held even a spark of Divine Presence within me opened a doorway I had never considered.

 

Raised Catholic, the idea of an inner divinity was not something I had been taught. Yet I remembered hearing that we are created in God’s image. Somehow that statement never quite made sense to me. As a child growing up in the Middle East, I saw clearly that people did not all look alike.

 

So I began to wonder…
What if that “image” was not physical but energetic?

 

That thought resonated deeply. It felt true.
I began to open to the sense that I carried my own connection to the Divine within me.

 

And then, as often happens… life moved on, and I got distracted.

 

Returning to the Conversation

Recently, my Akashic explorations have drawn me back, first to my Higher Self, and now more recently, to what I call my Inner Divinity.  In July 2025 I wrote this Akashic Inspirations post: “Your Higher Self Is More Important Than You May Realize – Insights from the Akashic Records!”

 

That exploration led me to gradually shift into more curiosity and engagement with my Inner Divinity.

 

For me, Inner Divinity is my unique expression of the Divine.
It is the creative, intelligent presence within me that is both of me and connected to something far greater.

 

It gently reminds me:

• I am never alone.
• Guidance and loving support are always available.
• All I need to do… is ask.

 

The Day I Asked My Inner Divinity One Question and Everything Shifted

One afternoon, while resting quietly during an acupuncture treatment, something unexpected happened. As I lay there in stillness, I found myself in conversation with my Inner Divinity.

 

I was inspired to ask a simple question:

 

“As a holder of Divine Creativity, what do all levels of my being most crave right now?”

 

The answer came immediately:

 

“Inner peace.”

 

I felt the truth of it instantly.

My physical body softened. My breath deepened. I could feel energy flowing more freely through me.

 

Emotionally, it was as if something within me had been waiting, thirsty for this exact gift. A quiet wave of relief moved through me, and tears of gratitude followed.

 

My mind, so often active, simply became still.
The noise dissolved. In its place: calm, clarity, receptivity to presence.

 

And from my spiritual level of being, my Higher Self, came a quiet, powerful knowing:

 

Yes… this is how life is meant to be.

 

A Simple, Powerful Practice

Since that day, I’ve returned to this experience again and again.

 

In meditation . . .
Before sleep . . .
In the middle of an ordinary day . . .
With my Records open or not . . .

 

I simply open my heart and welcome my Inner Divinity.

 

And I allow it to offer what I most need.

 

There is nothing complicated about this practice.
It is simple. Gentle. Profound.

 

And what I’ve discovered is this:

 

My Inner Divinity knows me far more deeply than my thinking mind ever could.
It knows what each part of me is ready to receive—and how to offer it in a way I can truly absorb.

 

Even in the midst of our busy or uncertain world, this connection brings me back to a place of calm, presence, and inner alignment.

 

 

Connecting with Your Inner Divinity: A Gentle Yet Powerful Practice

If you feel called, I invite you to try this for yourself.

 

Take a quiet moment.
Open your heart. (If you can and feel inclined, access your Records.)
Welcome your Inner Divinity.

 

Then ask:

“What do all levels of my being most crave right now?”

 

Listen.
Notice what arises.
Feel what shifts.

 

Your Inner Divinity is already in conversation with you.
Perhaps this is simply an invitation to begin listening more consciously.
