Have you noticed a growing internet buzz about the Akashic Records over the years and unfortunately most of that chat doesn’t contain much substance?

 

Are you confused and frustrated by what you feel is subterfuge and misinformation? Have you found people talk about the Records like it’s some BIG mystery and won’t tell you how they access? I could just scream!

 

Today the Records have asked me to address this problem. I dedicate this post and the three following to my Sacred Muse Mastermind Group who recently brought their bewilderment to my attention.

 

I enjoy demystifying the Akashic Records! My goal when invited to talk about the Akashic Field has always been to take this amazing spiritual resource out of the realm of the “outer limits” and show you how your Records can be an intimate, reliable, and loving support for your everyday life, just as they have been for me, my clients, and my graduates.

Q. What are the Akashic Records? I’m not sure I really understand what they are. Will that be a problem?

 

Since the Akashic Records are a HUGE topic, luckily a general understanding is enough to be able to work together with your Records. The Records are marvelous and patient teachers, so as you explore this resource and have your own experiences, you’ll understand more deeply. Small bites are most digestible in food and also with the Records!

 

So let’s begin with a simple definition of the Records. There are many out there.

 

The following is what I call my “working definition” of the Records.

 

The Akashic Records, or Akashic Field to be more accurate, are an energetic reservoir (or dynamic database if you prefer) of information about your soul throughout all its lifetimes. This includes every thought, word, deed, emotion, and intention experienced by your Soul. Through your Records, you can also connect to higher aspects of yourself and to the Divine.

 

If you’d like an even shorter explanation, the Records tossed me this sassy one years ago: “The Records are like Google for your Soul!”

 

I remember laughing out loud when I heard this because I use Google frequently and for a variety of tasks, and of course my Records know this.

 

However, I immediately understood an important distinction. While Google can be a wonderful intuitive tool that operates somewhat like the Akashic Field, no matter what I’ve ever googled – I’ve never felt that any of the folks at Google care about me as a person. Certainly no one there loves me unconditionally.

 

That’s okay – because that’s not Google’s job.

 

However, every time I open my Records or those of a client, one of these Akashic Inspirations, or the Akashic card deck I’m having an amazing time co-creating with its Records – I AM greeted by a feeling of love and it is unconditional. Since that feeling was a rare experience in my life until I learned to access my personal Records, this love can often bring me to tears of joy. Now I experience it frequently.

Back to that definition of the Records. I personally understand only about 10% of the potential available to us now through the Akashic Records, even after being steeped in Akashic sessions and trainings for the past 18 years. Every time I access, I learn more! They’ve never disappointed me. I also realize how much more I don’t know.

 

If you’re still with me, I’d like to expand my working definition a bit because I’ve found two more ideas to be essential for powerful and meaningful explorations of the Records.

 

To have the highest experience of the Records, it’s also important to . . .

 

1. be open to the concept of a Divine Presence that desires only your highest good and can help you in ways you haven’t been able to achieve for yourself and
   
2. have a basic understanding and willingness to forgive (a desire to set yourself free without agreeing to what was done).

Here’s one more cool thing about the Records.

 

Everything and everyone has an Akashic Field.

 

This is true even for small inanimate objects like crystals and huge constructs like our earth and the universes. So when our universe eventually collapses, it can still access it’s Akashic Field as it’s reforming, so it doesn’t have to begin back at the beginning. Once we can access our personal Records, we too can understand and clear issues still negatively impacting us now from our past lives and ancestral lineage.

 

My personal belief is that when you die, your Akashic Records are automatically released from what scientists inappropriately call “Junk” DNA and reunited with your soul energy, your Spirit, which never dies. The process is reversed when you reincarnate in a physical body.

 

So this is just a beginning. Instead of writing a lengthy post, I’m breaking this material into four parts, which may be subject to change as I actually write them. If you have questions, ASK! These posts are written for you.
