Ending the Year with Clarity, Kindness, and Small Steps Forward

 

Are you sprinting toward the holidays while juggling a hundred little endings and wondering how to squeeze in just one more thing? 

 

Or maybe you’re staring at your to-do list, muttering, “If I just finish this one more thing, maybe I can exhale…” (This one feels a lot like me at the moment.)

 

I get it.

And here’s what the Records remind me every December: endings don’t have to be perfect. Even small moments of reflection can bring clarity, gratitude, and peace. I don’t need to finish everything, and I certainly don’t need to do it all at once.

 

 

So when you’re at another of life’s crossroads, here’s a gentle idea for a mini year-end reset.

 

Take five quiet minutes in your favorite chair with your cup of tea, and ask your Soul (or pull a card from the Akashic Illumination Deck if you have it):

 

“What’s one thing I can release from this year, and one thing I choose to honor or celebrate?”

 

You don’t need a perfect answer. The point is simply to notice what’s complete, acknowledge growth (even the tiny, invisible stuff), and give yourself credit for showing up. If you have the deck, draw one card for each part of the question and then one more just because three activates the power of communication. It’s a playful way to open to the wisdom of your Soul and see what guidance emerges.

 

Here’s what I received . . . 

 

My one thing I’m releasing from this year is playing small. It doesn’t serve anyone! Yep.

The one thing I choose to honor or celebrate is my power and all the ways that I am powerful. This is my new go-to place when I brush my teeth, go for a walk, sit on the porch in the sun for a few moments.

Naming aloud all my powers and owning each one.  I AM Love. And this is my power! I AM curious and this is my power! I AM a passionate ambassador for the Akashic Field and this is my power!

Even just a few quiet moments like this can shift your energy, helping you step into the new year with more ease, focus, and self-kindness. Like me, you might be surprised how much a few reflections and acknowledgments can help you shift into feeling happier about yourself.

 

As you wrap up 2025, remember: your Soul sees your effort, your growth, and your intentions, even the ones you quietly tuck away. And if you’d like some extra support noticing your wins and releasing the rest, your Records are always ready to guide you.

 

Take a few minutes, ask a gentle question, and see what comes up. Trust me: clarity doesn’t have to be complicated. It just asks to be noticed.
